David Bobbitt grew up in a solid Christian home where he trusted Christ at a young age and was active in his local church. As a young teenager David surrendered his life to preach the gospel. Upon graduating from Commonwealth Baptist College in Lexington, Kentucky with a master degree in 2011 he worked on the college staff for 4 years before accepting the pastorate of the New Testament Baptist Church in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he served for three years.

In the summer of 2018 Pastor Bobbitt moved to New Jersey to start the Liberty Baptist Church. In the summer of 2022 Liberty Baptist Church merged with the Raritan Road Baptist Church to become Faith Baptist Church.

Pastor Bobbitt is married to Laurel, who he met while attending college, they have four kids Allen, Benjamin, Faith, and Samuel.
